The LSGO (Lutheran Scholarship Granting Organization) of Ohio’s purpose is to raise scholarship dollars for students to attend Lutheran high schools and elementary schools throughout Ohio.
Contributors to the LSGO of Ohio qualify for a nonrefundable tax credit for their donations; the tax credit will be applied to their Ohio state income tax liability, dollar-for-dollar, up to $750. Couples filing jointly may donate a total of $1,500 via two individual $750 payments.
The LSGO of Ohio’s scholarships will primarily be awarded to low-income students whose household income is under 300% of the poverty threshold. Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) were just recently brought into existence in Ohio’s legislative sessions.

The Annual Fund was established to secure the future financial stability for Solomon Lutheran School. Gifts to the Annual Fund help maintain our environment of academic excellence and spirituality. In addition to the generous support of our Congregation, our Annual Fund supplements our General Operating Budget and helps bridges the cost difference per student that exceeds tuition. Every contribution, no matter its size, helps continue our mission of providing a quality individualized education in a Christian environment.
The Meyer Financial Aid Fund was originally established by the family of our first Principal, “Teacher Meyer”. This fund provides tuition assistance to families who qualify. Anyone can contribute to the Meyer Financial Aid Fund.
The Endowment Fund was established in 1987 to ensure that Solomon will continue to maintain the highest quality Christian education for generations and generations to come. Endowment gifts are often in the form of securities, cash, planned giving, or real estate. They may be paid over a period of years and may be named to support a specific fund of the donor’s choice.
