Masking Phase 3 is in effect as of January 6, 2022. Phase 3 – masking is optional. If you prefer to have your child continue to wear a mask, please contact your child’s teacher.
New guidance has been published by the CDC if you were exposed to COVID-19 or have COVID-19. See https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html for details. To clarify, the quarantine period of 5 days starts after the last day of exposure. Therefore, households who cannot isoloate a positive person will need to extend their quarantine period. Quarantine periods may be extended if additional family members test positve and they have not been isolated. Solomon’s policies will be updated and posted to the website to reflect this new guidance.
Any student or family member contracting COVID-19 or exposed to COVID-19 is asked to consult with Mrs. Schiets before attending school. Please do not send your child to school after being exposed to COVID-19 or with any COVID-19 like symptoms without discussing with Mrs. Schiets. Thank you for your cooperation.
