Our parents set an example of service by committing to at least 12 hours of volunteer work per student each school year. Parents fulfill this commitment by participating in school committees, school events or other activities to fit parents’ schedules.

Volunteer committees include:

  • Christian Day School Committee: guides the strategic direction of the school and sets policies.
  • Development Committee: develops donors to help support Solomon’s future by contributing to the Annual Fund Appeal
  • Solomon Education Association (Solomon’s PTA): organizes fellowship activities and raises funds for extra-curricular educational activities such as camp and field trips
  • Marketing Committee

School fundraising events include:

  • Chicken BBQ
  • Auction
  • Book Fair
  • Craft Bazaar

Many community retailers offer rewards for shopping there that are sent back to the school, at no additional cost to you. All you have to do is shop like you normally would. A list of participating retailers along with information on how to sign up or participate is below.

Members and visitors of Solomon Lutheran Church support the work of the church and school through weekly offerings on Sunday and Wednesday chapel.

The Annual Fund was established to secure the future financial stability for Solomon Lutheran School. Gifts to the Annual Fund help maintain our environment of academic excellence and spirituality. In addition to the generous support of our Congregation, our Annual Fund supplements our General Operating Budget and helps bridges the cost difference per student that exceeds tuition. Every contribution, no matter its size, helps continue our mission of providing a quality individualized education in a Christian environment.

The Meyer Financial Aid Fund was originally established by the family of our first Principal, “Teacher Meyer”. This fund provides tuition assistance to families who qualify. Anyone can contribute to the Meyer Financial Aid Fund.

The Endowment Fund was established in 1987 to ensure that Solomon will continue to maintain the highest quality Christian education for generations and generations to come. Endowment gifts are often in the form of securities, cash, planned giving, or real estate. They may be paid over a period of years and may be named to support a specific fund of the donor’s choice.

You may honor or memorialize a loved one by giving a gift to Solomon Lutheran School. Memorial gifts may support such things as operating expenses, tuition assistance, and technology.
