Family Fun Night and Open House is next week! Join us for hot dogs and pizza beginning at 6pm on March 3rd. I encourage you to bring a new family with you to learn about Solomon. “Crusader Bucks” are awarded to referring families. Kindergartener, Abby Schmeltz, wrote a letter to Woodville Mayor, Rich Harmon, thanking him for his service and her love of the Woodville Library. Mr. Harmon surprised Abby and her class with a visit yesterday. Each student received a special Woodville flag pin from the Mayor. Great job Abby!

Congratulations to our 2015 Solomon Lutheran Lady Crusaders for winning the Bill Gibson Tournament this Sunday. The Crusaders faced St. John Freedom winning 29 to 4. Greta Bauder had a game high of 12 points. Sophie Blausey added 6. Solomon’s boys played a tough game against St. Patrick’s. The boys lost in a nail biting game 31 to 24. Arron Miller had a game high of 16 points, and Ian Jacobson added 5 of his own. Both teams had a terrific year. We would like to recognize and thank our coaches Andy Miller, Andy Jacobson, Sonia Herman, Amy Blausey, Stacey Hohman, and Emily Wegert for making this basketball season so memorable. Thanks to all of our great volunteers who help make Saturday mornings so special.
